Companies that have more women in leadership tend to be more profitable, according to Pax World Investment Management. Research has demonstrated that having women in senior management and on boards of directors tends to lead to more innovation, different risk management models, and less pay discrepancy between genders. Gender diversity is important to both companies and investors. Kelly Coyne, of Pax Ellevate Management, talks about about why investing in women should be part of your investment strategy.

Kelly Coyne is VP of Advisor Sales at Pax Ellevate Management, a joint venture between Pax World Investment Management and Sallie Krawcheck’s firm Ellevate Asset Management. Kelly is responsible for national sales and marketing initiatives related to the Pax Ellevate Global Women’s Index Fund, the first fund to invest in companies with gender diverse leadership teams. She also helps financial advisors build their practices and better engage and serve the next generation of clients and women clients through Pax World’s two practice management initiatives, Millennials & Money and Women & Wealth.
