You are a savvy earner and investor and you’ve spent a lifetime acquiring wealth to attain a certain lifestyle and secure your future. The last thing you want is to lose it all to a scam artist in your later years. Older women are the most likely targets of financial elder abuse. Estate planning attorney Kathleen Duke will speak about the epidemic of financial elder abuse and outline a number of life and estate planning techniques to prevent financial elder abuse from happening to you and your loved ones.

Join us on Thursday, June 13th, at 1 p.m. PT for this informative discussion!

Kathleen Duke is a native Californian and a cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School. After stints with major law firms in Los Angeles and Hong Kong, Kathleen got an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management. She switched into estates and trusts law by obtaining an LL.M. degree in Estate Planning and Elder Law from Western New England University School of Law. Kathleen worked as a Probate Attorney for the Los Angeles Superior Court from 2014 to 2016, and currently focuses her solo practice on estate planning and conservatorships as well as probate and trust administration and related litigation. Kathleen is on the board of the San Fernando Valley Estate Planning Council and is an active member of the trusts and estates sections of the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles County Bar Associations. She enjoys speaking to a broad variety of organizations about estate planning and elder law issues and is on the board of the Scintillating Speakers of Chatsworth, her local Toastmasters Club.
