Carol Jones: One of "30 Under 30" Most Powerful Interns of 2019

Your Turn, Intern!

Urban Wealth Management is proud to share that Carol Jones, our intern/apprentice, was recently honored by Your Turn Intern, an organization that focuses on youth internships on a national scale.

The Your Turn Intern Expo & Celebrity Fest was founded by Jason Seward, who interned during his college career and had a desire to give back and support other interns in their career paths. Seward has served for almost 10 years as a Deputy to Los Angeles County Supervisor Yvonne Brathwaite Burke and is currently a Commisioner representing Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti on the Innovation & Performance Commission. He also advised President Barack Obama and the White House Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs on the development and implementation of non-partisan educational conferences in 15 cities.

The Your Turn Intern program has been in existence for more than 15 years and benefits the Millennium Momentum Foundation (MMF). Both organizations reach out to provide financial and professional support and development for college students and recent college graduates from diverse backgrounds, so that they can thrive and transition from the classroom to the workplace. The Your Turn Intern Expo & Celebrity Fest hosts a national internship consumer show and career expo, including leadership development courses and the “30 Under 30” Most Powerful Intern Awards.

Carol was honored to be selected as one of the Your Turn Intern “30 Under 30” Most Powerful Interns for 2019, and she is grateful to the UWM team and the Your Turn Intern organization for supporting her career goals!
